EVIL SUPERSTARS/PLACEBO TOUR THIS MONTH

Belgian five-piece Evil~Superstars, whose brilliant hybrid of Beefheartian rhythms and drop-dead melodies has already seen them touted as ones to watch in '96, have been lined up, alongside Scheer, as support to Placebo on a full-scale UK tour in January and february.

The dates, which coincide with a new Evil Superstars single "Satan Is In My Ass", are as follows:

The Superstars, who signed to Paradox amidst a flurry of record company offers after a one-off London date last year with compatriots dEUS, release their debut album, "Love Is'O.K.", in mid-February.

Hailing from a small village outside of Antwerp, Evil Superstars are enigmatic frontman Maur Pawlowski, seventeen-year-old guitarist Tim Vanhamel, bassist Bart Vandebroek, drummer-Dave Schroyen and Marc Requile on keyboards.
