If the Evil Superstars were the office wanker they'd have one of those "You don't have to be mad..." stickers in their studio. Thankfully they aren't and they probably haven't and, in fact, this second long- player is a lot less scattergun than the first. It still manages to put up 14 tracks that share only lunatic/genius lyrical content and a pop edge though. Musically, these anti- heroes are as likely to be mumbling Tricky-esque trip-hop as sludge grunge, an electronic Sonic Youth ballad or just riffing for the sake of it. A triumph in these days of plodding guitar bands stretching their single over as many songs as they can. (JP)
